Missions Report by Alive2Love Ambassador Arloa Butler
This was my fourth trip with Alive2love, and my third trip to Honduras. Each year God does something new in me.
The first year I experienced His power flowing through me through obedience and humility. The next trip I experienced His provision, my trip was paid for in full and I had more than enough to give into other missionaries and support one of the kids at Eagles Christian Academy (the school that Alive2Love supports in Honduras). I also made unbreakable connections with other awesome Alive2love Missionaries and it was during THIS trip that God awakened a love for Honduras and its people that still burns inside of me today…
And so this last trip only confirmed what has already been stirring on the inside of me: that I am called to be a full time missionary and that I will soon be calling Honduras my home! But not only did God confirm me, He also changed me. I am now whole in heart with one unquenchable desire: To honor the One who honored me with new life and to give Him my whole life in return! And along the journey I am blessed to meet people who share my heart and calling and they are not just my friends, they are my family. Thank you Doug Rowland for seeing in me and calling out what I could not see myself, and thank you to all my Alive2love family. Love you so much and looking forward to seeing you again very soon!
