About the Family: The father of the kids hasn’t been involved in their lives, and a couple of months ago their mom decided to go seek a better future for them by illegally going into the USA. She hasn’t contacted them since she left so it is uncertain if she made it to the States or not. The kids are now being raised by their grandmother. Edwin wants to be able to go to school, but they haven´t been able to afford it. Marisol is too young to go to school yet but she enjoys doing some work at the Kids Learning Class.
